Our Story
In July of 2025, I (Jayden) sat down across from my great-Oma with a camera. She was 100 years old, and still sharp, still funny, still full of stories about a life that stretched back a century.
That afternoon became the first Legacy Life film I ever made.
She passed away that December, three days before her 101st birthday. After her funeral, our family gathered and watched the film together, and something remarkable happened. She was right there. Her voice, her laugh, her stories, told her way, in her own words. Memories naturally fade and details slip away, even in families who love each other deeply. But hers won't. Her great-great-grandchildren will hear her tell them herself.
That's when I understood what this work really is. It's not about cameras or editing, it's about making sure the people who shaped us get to pass down what mattered most to them, while they're at their best.
That film is why Legacy Life Productions exists.

Jayden Krul
Jayden is a filmmaker, storyteller, and creator with a passion for preserving meaningful moments. As the founder of Focus Frame, he has spent years using creativity and technology to bring ideas to life. Through Legacy Life Productions, he combines his love for filmmaking with a passion for people’s stories to create Legacy Films families can treasure for generations.
Nina Kerkhoff
Nina brings a background in marketing, events, and creating meaningful experiences to Legacy Life Productions. She loves helping people feel comfortable, connected, and valued while sharing the stories that matter most. Together with Jayden, she helps families preserve the memories, lessons, and moments that make each legacy unique.
